-->Welcome to ARCC (Amateur Radio of Churchill County)
Amateur Radio of Churchill County was established in 2012 with the premise of promoting Amateur Radio, supporting Amateur Radio operators, and most of all supporting the community through Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES), Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), National Traffic System (NTS), Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), ARRL Kids Day, and other activities that support Lahontan Valley of which Fallon is the county seat in Churchill County, Nevada.
We are a not for profit organization that hold meetings the first Saturday of each month, as well as weekly nets on the KE6QK repeater at 146.970 with a PL of 103.5 and the K7MKA-L Echolink node; 587758, each Sunday evening at 19:00 local (Pacific Time).
License testing is performed during our regular monthly meetings for all classes, and at other times as the need arises.
With over 40 active members, we have quite a diverse group with many different interests in Amateur Radio.
Please check out our site, join our forum, visit our Facebook page, and check back often as we add polish to our gathering place.
